High ResolutionDillan Raia-Ollie
About an hour or two before this was taken (Early March), I was in a bar with Jon, Kuber, Austin, and Jim. Dillan was working his shift at Five Guys. When he heard we were at the bar, via text message, he quit his job on the spot and skated over. After throwing back a few drinks and flirting with the waitresses, he told us he found a new spot on the way to the bar and that he would be down to go shoot a photo there. So after a few more drinks, we went over there and Dillan christened this virgin gap with this Ollie. Shortly after, Dillan and Jon drove off into the night with a girl from the bar and Austin and I went home.

High ResolutionFirst Tear Sheet
Photographed the Harold Hunter Day event at Brian Brown’s skatepark, 2nd Nature, up in Poughkeepsie for FTK Magazine’s article on the event. The event was a blast, a bunch of long island homies were there and everyone killed it…. Pick up the mag and check out the article if you get a chance.

High ResolutionMax Mcfarlane- Switch Heel
This was shot on a cold Tuesday night back in early January. There was no crew this time, just Max and I. Everyone we called said “it’s too cold to skate” and it didn’t help that Oil City was free on Tuesday nights at the time. Max is one of my favorite people to skate with, his always really motivated, has a positive attitude, and always prefers to skate street rather then a skatepark. We tried to shoot this photo about a month prior but were quickly kicked out by security, who threatened to confiscate my gear and call the cops if we didn’t leave immediately. This time I set up my flashes at the car and we carried them over to the spot so we could start shooting right away. Max landed this in less then 10 tries and we got outta there before security even noticed us.

High ResolutionDillan Raia- Ollie Thread the Needle
I shot this sometime in late August, (this gives you an idea of how far behind on post processing my skate photos I am) Austin, Hoey, Dillan and myself were out street skating all day. We decided to go home cause we were tired and it was dark. On the drive home Dillan saw this spot from the car window thru some trees. He got super excited and screamed at me to pull over to check it out. I figured that it wasn’t going to be anything worth while but I pulled over anyway. I was glad I did, surprisingly it was a skateable spot. Usually in these kind of situations the spot ends up actully having no run up or landing, really rough ground, or something that makes it unskateable. Dillan said he wanted to Ollie thread the needle over the fence. So I setup and he started trying it. He landed it pretty quickly and ended the night on a good note.

Anthoney Savillo-BS 5-0
This was shot back in November on a cold weekday night. Joderick called me and asked if I wanted to skate, I couldn’t resist a night sesh with a good crew and a generator. So, even though it was freezing, I told him I was down and picked up Joderick, Anthoney, and JJ. I told them I wanted to bring them to this ledge to drop because it was really close to a gap Joderick wanted to check out. We got to the ledge and no one seemed to be feeling it because it was cold and no one had really warmed up yet (this is not an ideal warm up spot for most). But Joderick fired up the generator anyways and said he would try something. So I setup my flashes and JJ took out his camera. Once everything was set up it was on. All the sudden Joderick and Anthoney were charging this thing, and shortly after a warm up bs 50-50 Anthoney did this bs 5-0…
